【主讲人简介】欧耀彬,中国人民大学教授,于2008年在香港中文大学获博士学位,曾入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”。主要研究方向为流体力学中的偏微分方程理论,在J. Math. Pure. Appl.、SIAM J. Math. Anal.、ANIHP (C)Anal. Non.、J. Diff. Eqns.等国际杂志发表论文20余篇,主持过多项国家级项目和省部级科研项目。
【讲座内容简介】 In this talk, we are concerned with the incompressible limit of Navier-Stokes equations. First, we review some results on the incompressible limit or low Mach number limit of Navier-Stokes equations. Then we study the incompressible limit of all-time strong solutions to the isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations with ill-prepared initial data and slip boundary conditions in a three-dimensional bounded domain. We derive the uniform estimates with respect to the Mach number and all time by establishing a nonlinear integral inequality with decay property. Then as the Mach number tends to zero, the convergence to the solution of incompressible Navier-Stokes equations is shown. This talk is based on the joint works with Dr. Lu Yang (IAPCM).
