【主讲人简介】 Yoshiyuki Kagei教授，1992年在Hiroshima University获得博士学位，历任Kyushu University助理教授，副教授，教授，现任东京理工大学教授，曾获得日本数学会的Analysis Prize。研究方向为流体力学中的偏微分方程。
【讲座内容简介】In systems of equations for motion of viscous fluids, solutions often exhibit various interesting spatio-temporal periodic patterns. In this talk, we mainly consider bifurcation of periodic patterns from the plane Poiseuille flow and from the Couette flow in a rotating fluid system. The stability problem is also considered for the bifurcating patterns from the Couette flow when the Mach number is small enough.
